Needed for a quad core solution for a friend of mine who travels alot but also needs this as his main rig for music creation.

It must have:
Exactly 4 slots (don't need or want any more)
1 good handle
At least one 80mm fan for exhaust (negotiable)

Optional:
Small LCD screen either attached or easilly modded on

Any help would be much appreciated.

First thing that comes to mind: Shuttle. Its small (more so than other SFF computers), and depending on the model, can handle quad cores.
Second thing that comes to mind: Thermaltake Lanbox. Bigger, heavier, but has a big honking handle that can kill people. You can also get a 7" LCD screen for the optical bays. Intakes/exhausts from all around.

budget? number of hard drives?

as mentioned, shuttle cases are amazing... you could buy a prebuilt system or just a barebones
