I have Comcast Internet and a Netgear WNDR3700v2 router. When I connect to a worksite using Checkpoint VPN, the Remote Desktop is slow, maybe delayed by a 1/2 second for each action, which is pretty irritating when you're trying to fix a problem. When I remove my router and connected my PC directly to my cable modem the problem goes away and remote desktop is as fast as it is when on site, so the VPN is not the issue in my opinion. So naturally I thought my router was either going bad or something was wrong with it. I bought a new Linksys AC1750 router, and the exact same problem persist. I took that back and am now back on the Netgear. Any ideas?
