Is it me or is the forum moving slow today? Before I was a member if flew. When I joined today it seemed to slow down. Was the fast moving forums just to suck you in so you join? Just kidding :D But is it slow today?
 
Yeah, it just started moving right along for me to. Sorry for the worthless thread.

we have to make a sticky explaining the boobies of the little internet elves that slow us down only in the morning...
 
Hmm... The uptime of Hardforums is pretty bad compared to the other forums I browse. I'd say that 40% of the time I either get a databse error and nothign comes up or it takes forever for them to load. And this isn't just at home, I experience this at work and our pipes are damn huge here.
 
I have to disagree with your contention. I am on the forums probably as much or more than 95% of the membership and experience occasional slowdowns. When I check the number of members online, it is usually over 1000, so a little slowness is to be expected. I think we have experienced two downtime instances (same weekend) within the last month and the system admins were out of contact for that period, so as a whole with the amount of traffic we generate, I feel that the forums make a pretty damn good showing for themselves.

Dude, 40% of the time? Yeah right! I'm on here every night and usually a bit every morning at work.

Also, I have never noticed, and I mean never, a slowdown in the forums that warranted bitching. Give them some slack and remember that the [H] is a fucking huge place, with a fucking lot of good shit!

this is somethign akin to how i feel too. most of the time it's awesome, but on occasion it will lag a little bit. :p

You'd have to be in denial to say that you have NEVER experienced any type of slowdow here. Most of the time it runs great, occasionally it slows down. Simple.
 
To all who have had a problem with the [H] in the past because of down time or slow loads we will be happy to refund your membership fees in total for any inconvience you may have experienced......oh wait, you didn't pay any membership fees now did you ;)
