Site very slow when logged in

Hi, when I'm logged in, if browsing through forum or posting, it slows down to a crawl. This on both FF and IE. Sometimes this message pops up:

"The server responded with an error. The error message is in the java script console".

When logged out, the site functions normally.

Doesn't happen on any other site. Any idea whats going on?
