According to DigiTimes, Silicon Integrated Systems estimated that its revenues were down 33.45% on the month and 72.85% year to year. The company remains optimistic and will be offering several chipset models for the Intel platform.

The large decrease in last month's revenues was primarily caused by that clients had relatively high inventory levels, SiS pointed out. However, the company has an optimistic outlook for its business in 2007. According to SiS, the company is the first Taiwan-based chipset designer, which obtained Microsoft's certification for the Windows Vista Premium operating system. This will help to bring in OEM orders, SiS indicated.
