Since I've upgraded to a 1440p, should I increase or decrease my mouse DPI ?

I wasn't sure I thought read a while back when you upgrade to a 1440p monitor it's a good idea to either increase/decrease the mouse DPI, I could be total wrong too so let me know. By the way the monitor is 60Hz.

If you want the mouse to move the same percentage of the screen you would increase your dpi. I left mine the same when I upgraded, but I also went from 24 to 28 inches so distance moved was about the same.

Personally I would keep it the same even if size didn't change. You'll lose precision if you increase it unless you use scaling on everything.

I increased in size from 24" to 27" and upped the res.

Your monitor DPI would stay about the same then.

I didn't change mine. Still the same as with my old 24's.

I did on my 4k workstation screen. Not my 1440p screen though.

I do adjust pointer speed though in control panel. Stock speeds are far too slow.
