I have a mirrored array of 2 disks on my k8n neo4 sli platinum board. The controller is a silicon image 3132. The sataraid5 array manager lists the array as a legacy rg0. It offers an option to convert them with the command 'convert legacy raid group' but the documentation offers no clue as to why I would want to do this. Is it a performance boost? If you have any insight - I'd appreciate your advice.

Thanks,
