This IS the remake. :)

...the original had CGA graphics.

And at this price, everyone visiting this thread needs to buy this (if not already an owner). The gameplay is outstanding, and there is damn near unlimited replayability.
 
I loved the original on my C64 :) Loved this remake as well. Anyone know the highest resolution this supports?

I don't think so, at least in the graphics department..It could really use a full overhaul, as most of the gameplay is fun...I think there could be better control over the ships (more complex battles when you have an actual fleet) and they could get rid of that stupid dancing QTE...

Other then that, it is a fun game..

I think he wants something with DX12-level features with 8K support. :confused: :D
 
Pirates of Black Cove Gold is a similar game if you want something "newer".
