Show Your LCD(s) setups!!!

I wonder if you could get ahold of something to put over your LCD, like those 3M privacy screens. You could use it to keep the smoke off your LCD and just replace it as needed. Much better than replacing a screen.....
 
yes, considering i've put over $1800 CAD on those in the lasts years and I am unemployed (actually never had a job)
I was thinking getting an apartment, that should fix the smoke problem, but money and space will be an issue :(

Those 3M fliters seems to cost alot, since my laptop has a touchscreen layer. a digitizer and a screen protector Im not quite sure I want to add another layer.
I think the screen protector should do a fine job, but the smells will stay forever :/

my puny 19" samsung. Seems so puny cause so many of you guys have 24"+ lcd's. Haha, swans speakers make it seem smaller.

BUT

There was a no sales tax deal at circuit city this passed weekend in California. They also had this killer sale for an LG 42" 1080p! Got even more hookups, and finally got a brand new LG 42" 1080 LCD TV for $990 with no tax! Awesome! No dead pixels or anything! Too bad I have no HD equipment yet. IPS panel ftw.

like the Ikea table. looks good but I cant stop myself from saying i hate how you have the monitor on your reciever. your blocking the airflow, putting pressure on the reciever...... and the monitor could fall. and the other guy has his on the speaker...nooooo
yeah im a little bit OCD... sorry.

aww you have stuff stacked in the 2nd pic too. i like to look at all these pics here but i cant stand some of it i see. i dont everrr stack anything. especially something on top of a dvd player.

Can't really put it to the table, it sits way too low there. And it isn't really blocking anything, there are vents on the other side, and it blocks less than ½ of the vents on the top.

If I had tools I'd build a shelf for the display, but I don't.. :D

I always stack my stuff, I hate if everything has to be lonely at its own shelf. :D And there's no harm doing it, the heavier stuff is on the bottom.
 
i know , i know sorry. i have i guess a ocd type problem with it. if someone puts a cup or glass near an edge i cant stand it and have to move it because im afraid it will fall off. wierd huh.
 
hey what ps3 games you got there. ever play online? im gonna get Saints Row 2. looks pretty fun.
nice desk too, im jealous. im going get me another one, somewhere. not sure yet. probably an ikea.

I'm waiting to decide what graphics card I want to upgrade to, then double them up and run all 3 and toss in a 19" in portrait mode for coding only. But, for now I use the third for the PS3. Also will be tossing a Xbox360 Elite in the mix soon and it will use of the three as well.
 
I had MGS4 but i traded it and MX vs ATV Untamed in at gamestop towards Saints Row 2 pre-order.
I have fight night round 3, GTA 4, rock band, battlefield bad company, and ufc sudden impact (ps2).

i play gta 4 online quite a bit but probably trade it in when i get Saints Row 2.

Thanks! I might pick one up one for my girlfriend. It could be pretty helpful to her since she is a music major and works with finale all the time. This way she won't have to go the music lab everytime.
 
I'd take a look at some of the m-audio 25 key keyboards. They are relatively cheap, but work perfectly. Here is a semi-weighted version that looks really slick too [x]. I used an Oxygen 8 v1 on our latest record and it turned out really well.
 
wow that keyboard is only 2 octaves, I'm having problem to adjust from 4 to 3 octaves, i can't image 2!!

The prodikey is neat, but takes some time to get used to it (i guess) and the 3 octaves only is kind of limiting me alot (one song i play needs 5!, i gotta switch all the time)

I gotta pick a desk soon, because having friends over i'm getting short on space.

i posted about the BenQ FP241VW a few pages back. is it still available and what do you guys think about it. couldnt find a thread about it here only the FP241w. ive been looking really hard at it.

i like the look of it a lot but im wondering if its for me or not. im think im either going for the Dell 2709 or the FP241VW. i know ive posted a few times here already about monitors. im just trying to find the right one for me. Or maybe the V2400W. it looks nice too. dont know which to choose. think ive about talked myself out of the 30 inchers though. they just dont have the features and reliablity (yet)

New desk. I will be getting a 2407WFP and a 2 LCD arm when I move in a couple of months. I'm looking forward to going back to duallys.

Like I was saying t ypu before, loving your mouse you have :D And I like your chassi case, It's small :) And I allso like dual monitors and the speakers.
