EDIT: Got it working. For those interested I made a change in my router settings to turn off IPv4 and IPv6 firewall so it would connect and update. They're now back on.
Just bought this device and was told about Show Box. I've downloaded the App several times from different places and it will install (had to allow unknown sources other than Play Store checked). The new pro uses KITKAT. I searched all over the net and found nothing.
When I open the App it tries to "download data...wait for a few seconds" but nothing pops up. The only thing I see is on the left side is Icons for TV shows, updates and downloads. pressing any of these icons doesn't bring up anything. See pic.
This is my first time using an Android device. Can anyone offer ideas?

Edit: here is another screenshot of the App downloaded from another location. Version 2.3. With this version I get "Connection error....check your internet connection"
