Should I be using TIM to connect my VRMs to my block?

I’m running Alphacool GPX-N blocks on my Titans. These blocks do not come with any TIM to connect the big inductors to them. Is there any value in adding my own in order to do that? The OEM cooler has TIM to connect the block to everything in that area.

If Alphacool's decided those components don't need to be cooled, you can probably safely rely on Alphacool's judgement. Bear in mind that water-cooled GPUs have a huge collective thermal transfer area, and cooling a component effectively cools that component's neighbor to an extent.

If it's a peace-of-mind thing, adding some thermal pads probably won't hurt - just make sure you don't get them too thick or it'll mess with the rest of your mount.

RAM and VRMS should absolutely be thermally connected to your block/heatsinks
