Short cuts for windows store games

Recently been enjoying the new dx12 Froza game but is there a way to do decent desktop shortcuts. I have it some how pinned to my start menu but even then the icon is blank or solid white. A nice Desktop shortcut with icon would be nice right?

I notice that even if you create shortcuts for the universal apps, when you apply an update to the app the shortcut breaks. REALLY annoying. So much for creating a shortcut on the desktop to Edge or other apps.
