Shockwave Flash busy lag

Any site with flash causes this lag popup for 5-10 seconds. Fresh install of latest Firefox. Fresh update of shockwave.

I tried the disable protected mode trick and it doesn't help.

Updated video drivers. Think it might be better now.

I've noticed this a lot as well. www.nfl.com is/was horrible for a long time in Firefox across many Nvidia driver updates. The site is fine without Flash enabled but can lock up with Flash enabled. Unfortunately many sites still use Flash for some dumb reason and it's really hard to go without.
