Okay, in May I will be doing a 17 hour drive to Disney World with a 7 year old and a 3 year old. God help me. I have an LG G3, the 7 year old has a cheap phone with little storage, and the 3 year old can use our Kindle HDX. What I want to do is to be able to store a bunch of videos on my phone, and share them with the other two devices since they are somewhat limited on storage. I would so this by creating a hotspot via my phone. I may even get an SD card for the phone. The one way I can think of how to do this is to run an FTP server off my device and the other two devices access it via Kodi. Does anyone know if there is any other type of solution I could employ that may work better? Thank you.

A few ideas ...

1. Store them on a computer and copy them as necessary each day.
2. Store them on onedrive, google, amazon, etc and copy them direct to the devices using wifi each day.
3. Convert the videos to a lower resolution so you can copy them easier/faster.
