I have 2 wireless cards on my laptop. 1 of them is currently turned on to connect to my wifi router downstairs. Now I have an xbox in my room connected to another wireless router that I want to share internet with. Is this possible? If not I have nic on my laptop but I still want to use the router. How do I go about doing this?

You would either need to setup your second router in bridge mode or just purchase a wireless bridge and hook it up to your xbox and it will connect to your wireless router down stairs. I use a wireless bridge for my tivo. Works fine. The two wifi cards in your laptop really wont do anything for you. You could try to use the internet connection sharing wizard, but I would receommend just getting the bridge.

My router next to the xbox is Dlink Di-524. I don't think it's a bridge and I don't want to buy another router just to hook it up to my xbox. My computer is 5 feet away. Worst comes to worst I can always use cross over cable from my laptop to the xbox.

I'm sure there's another way. Any suggestions...
