Shadowplay: How to record custom resolution

Well, not a custom resolution exactly just a different resolution then the whole screen. I play at 3440x1440 and would like to record the center of the screen at 2560x1440, so removing the left and right sides from the video. Just so that when they get uploaded to youtube they are fullscreen.

I currently use shadowplay but will be upgrading to Razer Gamecaster (or whatever it's called) eventually.

Can't. You'll have to record full screen and then use some editing software to crop down to your desired resolution/aspect ratio.

Alternatively, play the game at 2560x1440 and have black bars on your monitor.
 
Just use OBS to record. Shouldn't put much of a strain on your system if you aren't using it to downscale.
 
Thanks for suggesting OBS! I can record the middle 2560x1440 of the screen with it! So I can play in 21:9 and record at 16:9 :D
