Shadow Warrior is an excellent game by the same people that made Duke Nukem 3D, and Tyrian is one of the best games of its genre and has some amazing music in it. I really like Bio Menace, too. I haven't played Stargunner, though.

One thing that all these games have in common is that they were originally published by Apogee / 3D Realms - pioneers of shareware and popularizers of PC gaming.

Shadow Warrior is a timeless game for me, sure the graphics are super dated but the gameplay is still awesome, when it came out it had very advanced game mechanics for its time too.

Bio Menace, if my memory serves me right it was a random game some old friend of mine picked up and we finished it, pretty decent platformer, nothing extraordinary but not bad.
 
Played a little of the old SW after the I played the remake.
Loved what happens with you kill the rabbits in the remake.
