Sent messages not showing up?

So anyone know why this is? I thought it was because im a newish member but im not sure if its a glitch on my end.

I can check my inbox but the sent folder is always empty and its confusing because if I sent a PM to someone, i feel like the system didnt do it. It does but then I may get a random reply and Ill be like "who is this?/what is this about?" if they dont quote my PM I sent since there is no way to keep track of my sent PMs.

Hope a mod or admin can look at this and if its just like that, its fine I guess but a little weird I must say.
 
At the bottom of your PM, you'll see this.

Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder.

Check that box to make sure it gets saved on your end.

If it's not checked, you can set it to default check in the

User CP | Settings and Options | Edit Options | Private Messaging | Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default
