I picked these up a few days ago. I like them... a lot. Not bass heavy, but you can hear the bass clearly, and well, everything else pretty clearly as well.

Anyways, these retailed for $300 about 2 years ago, I think they are normally $250, although they're $199 at Amazon. Still, $150 is a decent price for them.

Yeah they are super comfy.

As to the gaming, I did try it out a bit last night with Batman: AO, from my Fiio E7 USB Dac/Amp. I did notice the directional sound was ok, not great, it did jump slightly from in front to the side, and behind. But I assume a decent gaming soundcard would help alleviate that. Other than that, the soundstage is pretty decent.

If I didn't already have a modded pair of 558's I'd be getting a pair of these.

I'm trying to find a reason (justification, excuse?) to get a set of HE-400's next.
