Security Cameras

I would like to purchase 2,3 or 4 (not sure yet) security cameras for my business. The cameras will be mounted outside only. They need to withstand snow, rain, etc.

I would like to hook them up to a monitor that will allow me to view all of them at the same time.

What kind of cameras do you recommend? And would they have to be plugged in or battery operated?

I have a friend who setups those up as his business...he uses Intellinets biz grade cameras...with a software suite Go1984
