After seeing the reviews on Seasonic's Platinum 1000 watt power supply I thought it couldn't get any better than this but then Seasonic came out with a Gold certified X-1250 watt psu that made me pause in my purchase of the 1000 watt Platinum. Now they've thrown more options for power than anyone will ever need into the mix. Platinum rated 860 watt and Gold certified 1050 watt units. Oddly both are price the same at $219.00 but for the quality you get from Seasonic that $219 seems a steal.

Those are very nice PSU's! Very expensive too! I'm happy with my NZXT HALE90 850W beast! $219 for the 860W is way out of my budget. Got my 850W for like $160! Platinum is nice but Gold is still sweet!
 
The hale90's are damn nice, but the seasonic x-1000 is just crazy. Sure it's expensive, but i'll be damned if i've seen any voltage move more than .01
