Seagate Expansion 8TB Desktop External Hard Drive USB 3.0 (STEB8000100) - $150 Prime

I've only had horrible experiences with Seagate drives, in fact one died last week, and it was only like 18 months old, yet these bastards only give them 1 year warranties.
 
Heh. I hear you. I'm resilvering a dead Seagate drive with a WD right now in my ZFS pool. That being said, the drive has lasted 4 years. Seagate definitely isn't the most reliable, but this is a still a good deal I think. I nearly bought it to back up my array.
