After all the negative reviews, however, I can't bring myself to click the checkout button.
 
I've had good luck with the drives...

I have had 4 running in a NAS for over a year without a single one dying...

I did receive 1 DOA, but had it swapped out.
 
i hope theres a good deal on 1.5 tb drives this bf and cyber monday.

ive got about 340 bucks to blow on more drives. wanna get 4 :(

I think I'm going to hold out as well... I would've ordered one from ZZF for $98 - $15 MIR, but they've been out of stock for the past couple of weeks and the rebate ends on 11/10 ($10 says they come in stock on 11/12 :p)
 
I have had one of these since the revised firmware and its been running fine. I don't archive stuff that I didn't love so I actually have free space but if the prices fall much lower I may have to get one for redundancy.
 
This has gotta be a bit slower than the 7200rpm version, but I assume it doesn't have the firmware problems.

these are good drives, I have two in my WHS, along with two 7200rpm versions.
