I'm looking for a cheap way to expand my Plex server and found this pretty cheap. It is an older model but would there be a reason this would be a bad choice for my use case? I'm using Stable bit drive pool and anything critical is backed up elsewhere also. Cost is around $60 but don't want to waste money if it has some known issues that I'm not aware of.

I don't see anything in particular wrong with them that jumps out. If it's $60 for a new drive, that's probably not terrible.
If you're looking at $60 for a used drive, then I would start to take issue, since other 4TB drives that are new are available for around the $60 mark.
