Just saw these after having posted in another thread recommending Low RPM YL's. Can't find any mention of them here or any proper reviews anywhere. I'm wondering if anyone owns some of these and if they can give some opinions or comparisons to other popular fans.
The most info I can find so far is on spcr:

£8.50 inc vat, per fan comes into the same price bracket as slipstreams, at least here in the UK. Seems to me to generally be an appreciable drop in noise for a big drop in airflow.
Slipstreams:
7.50 dBA / 24.50 CFM - 500rpm
10.70 dBA / 40.17 CFM - 800rpm
24dBA / 68.54 CFM - 1200rpm
33dBA / 88.11 CFM - 1600rpm
37dBA / 110.31 CFM - 1900rpm
Gentle Typhoons:
5 dBA / 18.23 CFM - 500rpm
9 dBA / 28.23 CFM - 800rpm
16 dBA / 37.05 CFM - 1150rpm
21 dBA / 50 CFM - 1450rpm
28 dBA / 57 CFM - 1850rpm
S-Flex:
8.7 dBA / 33.5 CFM - 800rpm
20.1 dBA / 49 CFM - 1200rpm
28 dBA / 63.7 CFM - 1600rpm
35 dBA / 75 CFM - 1900rpm
Yate Loons:
28 dBA / 47 CFM - 1350rpm
33 dBA / 70.5 CFM - 1650rpm
40 dBA / 88 CFM - 2200rpm
25dBA / 46 CFM - 1000rpm *140mm*
29dBA / 62 CFM - 1400rpm *140mm*
Based on Scythe's official numbers I doubt the noise difference will be very noticable till about 1150rpm where the difference in dBA begins to immerge, a difference of 8/12/9dBA respectively.
This time based on numbers and price I'd still go for a 1350rpm Yate Loon over the 1850rpm GT, as a difference in 10CFM to me simply isn't worth double the price for the same dBA, although perhaps others feel differently? I also trust YL's ratings to be more accurate than Scythe's, otherwise its more than a little impressive how the GT keeps up with the 140mm YL's.
I'm tempted to replace my ZM-F3s for a pair of the 1450rpm GTs, would be a no brainer for me if they were £5 each. Hope someone does a review soon!
-Edited to add S-Flex numbers and opinion.
Comparing the S-Flex and GT yields some quite odd results, at least on paper.
The 800rpm S-Flex pushes 5.27 CFM more air and produces .3dba less noise than the 800rpm GT.
The 1200rpm S-Flex pushes 11.95 CFM more air and produces 4.1dba more noise than the GT at 1150rpm.
But comparing them at closer dba (21 to 20.1) and not rpm the GT pushes 1 CFM more air at the cost of .9dba. I'm guessing that if the S-Flex was undervolted to produce 21dba it would be pushing the same or more air (scale the 1200rpm air:noise down - not very sure what i'm implicating here)
When both fans are producing 28dba you can see that the S-Flex pushes 6.7 CFM more air for exactly the same noise level.
So it would seem overall the S-Flex still pushes more air for less noise.
Also notice in both previous comparisons the GT is spinning 250rpm faster than the S-Flex. I'd say it would be reasonable to argue that a rpm increase that great would not actually yield the same noise level, or at least that it would produce a more noticable pitch of noise; so 28dba-28dba may not actually be as equal as it seems.
Keeping in mind that I've had neither of the fans on hand to test, I'd still recommend the S-Flex over the GTs since most of the results of comparison seem to be in its favour, or indicate that actual noise:airflow of S-Flex would be better.
