First off, I'm fairly new to this raid stuffs. I just got a Dell poweredge 1650 that comes with 3 73gb drives. I set first drive to Raid 0 and installed server 2003 on there. After that, I went back create another container for those 2 other drives. 2 containers show up under my device property but only the container with the OS is visible under my computer. What am I doing wrong here?

What does "disk management" show? Start->Run->"diskmgmt.msc".

Also - how can you set a RAID level on a single drive ?? Aside from that is sounds like the drive just needs to be partitioned and formatted in Disk Management where UM directed you to.

Sounds like you need to format and assign a drive letter. Use diskmanager as stated above to do so.

New RAID arrays never show in My Computer till you set them to.

Where did you set the Raid0, in the raid card BIOS?

whats the size of your raid0 disk?

73gb or 200gb?

I just format and added the other container ( 73gb x 2) under diskmgmt. It now shows up under my computer and seems to be working just fine now. Also, the raid utility let me set my primary container as either as volume or Raid 0 striped.
