This question pertains to Mac OS X, but it's more of a UNIX thing than a Mac thing so I figured I'd post it here...
I was screwing around and ended up replacing /bin/bash with a useless program. (yes I am stupid, I know.) Now, when I go to the terminal, it runs my useless program instead of the shell. Is there a way to change my default shell (to csh/ksh/any other shell) without having to access bash? or is there a way to fix bash easily without using the shell?
any ideas appreciated....THANKS!
EDIT: I used the OSX terminal's "new command" option to delete my fake "bash" then copy ksh to the name bash, and that solved it. now I just need to figure out how to put bash back on!
