I sent Sceptre the following questions...
(1) The monitor has a 16:10 aspect ratio but 1080p is 16:9. Is there a feature (termed 1:1 scaling/mapping) to keep the 1080p video at 16:9? If so, which video inputs does it work for (HDMI, DVI, VGA, and/or component)?
(2) Does the DVI port feature HDCP? If so, does it support 1080p with HDCP enabled?
(3) Does the component input support 1080p?
(4) Where can I purchase the monitor and when will it be released?"

They said the monitor will not be released for a while and can't answer my questions.

hm yea your right. but the stores offering sceptre must be very limited then. i couldn't find any by google.

Yeah, I just got a response saying it was still being designed. What there is to be designed about it, I don't know. From their site it looks like they have it pretty much done. All they need to do is sell the damn thing.
