Hmmm... I haven't heard of JBUD headphones, so I can't judge them, but the only deals I spot on that page are the the Ety ear buds. ($10 less than elsewhere online)

Altec Lansing is a really good deal, as is the JLAB J3 and the Etymotic ER-6i.

Etymotic Research ER6i Isolator In-Ear Earphones (White)

I have the ER4s (going on 8 years) and they are amazing. So far I've sent them in twice for repairs (my fault) and they've replaced them with new units.

I love my ER6i's. No other in-ear headphones fit comfortably for me.

I've had a pair of ER6i's for a couple of years now. A very good in-ear headphone that seems to get overlooked a lot.

My ear buds just decided to not have sound in 1 ear so I am looking to get a replacement. Cheap ass Sony ones. I don't think I want to spend $60 on a set though so I am looking at the Jbuds J3 or Jbuds J2's. Hmmm what to get....

Bah too bad the top ten "headphones" are all earbuds!

Nice deal for someone whom wants earbuds, though.

The Altec Lansing is an Ultimate Ears Super Fi 3 rebrand.

The Altec Lansing and the Etymotic are good buys.

Why not just get the MEElectronics M6's or M9's from overstock. Better soundstage than the Lbud's and the UHP336's. Plus the M9's are <$20 and the M6's are $40.

The Lift Audio look like my favourite Maximo iMetal IM-490, but reading detailed reviews, they are manufactured separately at least- the way they split the cable is different. I'm tempted for $10, but I really don't need another backup set.

J3's get decent review at Head-Fi, but aren't really on sale: http://www.jlabaudio.com/product_info.php?products_id=120.

I'm being picky here, but those aren't headphones, they are earbuds. Maybe you don't see the difference, but it certainly turned me off to any of the deals.

Amazon has the earbud sale on an almost monthly basis. I grabbed a Senheiser pair once (not the pair advertised) and it was kinda meh.

Not a hot deal IMO.

Hah oh well. I just want these to last longer than the ones I had before. I hope they sound better too. It's hard to see myself spend $30 on some ear buds when I can get a pair for 5 bucks. If the sound and quality is that much better than it's worth it.

Guys, the ER6i are kind of shrill, not much low end to them at all. If you want something accurate, with nice lows and accurate highs, this will blow away anything under $100 right now:

Meelectronics put out some great products.

The ER6is do not have a ton of low end, but they are very accurate and clear. The clarity is amazing from them.

I have used a lot of etymotic earphones as well as others, and they are fantastic. The fit is very nice too, they are much smaller than a lot of the others. The key is getting a good snug fit to really hear the proper quality and clarity. It also improves the low end a bit.

I have to disagree. I just bought a pair of these and they sound like crap. Way to tinny, very little bass and no midrange. Yuck.

I'd return them for another pair then, honestly. I went by a VERY large amount of recommendations for those, and I love them. They did mention the build quality being slightly hit or miss, or maybe you didn't get a good fit.

I got the J3's a couple weeks ago for free

they're pretty good. I'm not a fan of in-ear things, and the noise canceling stuff kind of creeps me out (never know who is sneaking up to you when you're beating it to hardcore tranny porn), but otherwise they sound good and the bass is pretty solid.

Well.. At least its not Hardcore Midget Tranny Porn.. :(

Agreeing with many here, that is an very nice price for the Etymotic er6i. However, those cans have two caveats. The first one is common to almost all canal/in-ear headphones; they're kinda flimsy. Not a problem for most people, but if you're rough on your gear, try Shure headphones instead since they have thicker cords etc. Second is how some people say the Etymotics lack bass (not true) -

Guys, the ER6i are kind of shrill, not much low end to them at all.

The problem isn't that the Etymotic's lack bass, it's that they don't pronounce it. If you're the type of person who almost always turns up the bass knob/volume in your car/mp3 player, then don't get the Etymotics. If tend to listen mainly to bumpin rap/dance/electronica, the Etymotics might disappoint you. If you often use your subwoofers as a substitute for a back massager, the Etymotics might suck for your tastes.

I listen to everything; jazz, country, electro, thrash, rap, you name it. Most of the time the er6i would be a GREAT set of headphones for my purposes since I usually prefer clarity and accuracy. This is especially true since they're only $60. But sometimes I like to get in my car and crank my subs to earthquake levels, or go to the gym and bang some metal to drown out the crap-ass top 40 American Idol radio shit they play. In those situations, the Etymotics _will_ get loud, but the thumpin' just won't be there. YMMV.
