Sapphire RX 570 In Stock $219 @ Newegg

Props to Techspot for the article but they are not accounting for overclocking, custom vbios or the performance difference of gddr5 memory (micron vs hynix vs samsung).

My 1080 does 25.5. Mh/s with mem at 11ghz and my 1060 3gb samsung mem at 9ghz does 23.6Mh/s. 1060 with micron is junk maxes out around 19Mh/s and hynix is somewhere in the middle.

Close to actual MSRP RX 570 is the best value for mining but not worth the recent inflated price vs an MSRP 1060 3gb. I got my 1060s for $191.50 shipped with tax a few months ago.

That being said no card at MSRP will earn back its cost on Ethereum at this point the difficulty is too high and they will end mining for proof of stake at some point.

IMO for gaming an RX570 is only [H]ot way under $200 like when the 470s and 480s were on sale around $150 frequently before the mining craze and shortages.

lol, you're doing it wrong if you're only getting 19 out of micron 1060s. Mine will do 22.5 easy at 70% power limit and +125 core, +500 mem. If anything, hynix memory is garbage. At least that was the case during the picarin and tahiti radeon days. Fortunately none of my 1060s have hynix

I only tried 1 with Micron and it was a turd, max stable was +200 mem (8400mhz actual while mining IIRC). Could set it to 250 but it would crash when a new dag loaded (happens every 30000 blocks). MSI Aero ITX card FYI.

Silicon lottery of course but Samsung is the clear winner.
