Sapphire Radeon RX Vega 64 8GB = $399.99 + 3 Free Games

It is great deal, albeit a ~turbine style card, the new AMD cards dropping next year may be why AMD is trying to offload the older Vega cards.

yeah the cooler is the biggest turn off for me otherwise i'd easily grab one right now. thanks for posting the deal though didn't realize it went on sale again.

I think it is a little more manageable with undervolting and fan profiles...basically doing what AMD should have done themselves. It's only a turbine until you play with the settings.

But bang for the buck, it's a pretty good card at $399.

Off to search for audio of fan noise, I hope it's is horrible and I have to skip this purchase.:D

Sorry OP, can't call you crazy. I may, however, angrily call you up in the middle of the night if I buy this card.;)

Undervolted it'll stay around or under 3krpm Max load, Is pretty quiet and im used to 800rpm sleeve bearing fans...
When you leave it stock and try push it is when you get the typical vega..
They are enthusiast cards not mainstream really with this in mind.
Ps quite a few users on here with them that love them who also own 1080ti and 2080 etc enough said. Read what they say.

If your at all a bit handy, toss an AIO on it, mines running great and most importantly, silent with the RAD fans at 975 RPMs. Fully stressing it, it'll reach around 60c at that speed, which is just fine with me, much cooler than the stock blower by far at default. I'll post my build pics / vids eventually.

AMD has channel back up just like Nvidia. Waiting is the best option.

I jumped on this deal when they did it and for Black Friday. I couldn't be happier, it's no louder than my GTX 970 card was and even better with the latest drivers the support auto under-volting. It's at least twice as fast as my 970 card was in most games.

Yes please! I would like to know the steps and were you got those handy dandy heat sinks.

Only two years warranty.
in my opinion 2 years is enough.. if a card lasts those two years it'll most likely last much longer and/or most people will have upgraded by then especially with vega being near the end of it's manufacturing life cycle. like we've seen with the RTX series cards typically either fail immediately or don't fail for many years if taken care of properly.

Actually most of them were from Amazon at this storefront, may be cheaper elsewhere I'm sure, but I was in a hurry. Also used this Silicon Thermal Adhesive, so they should be removable if need be without destroying the components.

I'll try to put that build Pics / Vid together when I'm off next week, not gonna be any pro Youtube shit by any means, could care less about that.

Here's the exact links:

Honestly very rare a video card dies on you in 2 years. Unless you got the fan on 24/7. It can last quiet a while.
I've had cards died on the third year before.

Same, but a max fan OC on a ref cooler. 1.3v, 1.3GHz 7970.. the star that shines bright and all ;) haha it was about as fast as a ref 290x and 780Ti lmao.. didn't need to upgrade that rig till it died.
