Sapphire Radeon R9 380 2 GB Compact OC Version for $139.99 AR

would make a nice sff 1080 res card for the $ although rebates suck in general. Then again, the 960GTx deal isn't too much more and would stomp this I'm sure. Depends on budget, but for someone not playing the latest AAA titles, I would consider it.

This will play newest AAA titles at 1080p at max settings until the next generation of consoles. Look at Battlefront benchmarks on this card. I can run Battlefront on my 285, at 2560 x 1600 on my 30" dell on high settings and its perfectly playable. These are also DX12 so they'll have a longer shelf life too.

Oh man, I have a compact HD 4850 in a data-center box for some cloud gaming and GPGPU that needs an upgrade. Little too much power consumption to fit, unless it's significantly lower than the 190 watts TDP on the full size. Tonga! GCN 1.2! HSA! Bah.
