Sapphire Pulse Vega 56 $400 (was $380) +free games

Newegg This is the lowest I've seen new vega 56 cards without need for rebate.

Powercolor also has a card for $370 after $30 rebate too.

Its a really neat card for those interested. Cheaper than the lowest GTX 1070 cards on Newegg right now so definitely a good buy for those in the market. I believe 1070s can normally be had for cheaper though.

Back to $400 now, but I grabbed the Pulse last night. My 290 still does more than adequately for me at 1440 but I had the upgrade itch, a $15 NE gift card, and Vega inventory seems sketchy. The Sapphire Nitro cards seem to be the ones to get but pricing is either silly or they're just not available for some reason. As you mentioned the 1070/ti is likely the better buy, especially if on sale. The value for Vega really just doesn't seem to be there quite yet but with the Nitro Vega disappearing from Newegg and the looming threat of tariffs I went for it.

Probably should have waited for Navi (or at least Black Friday/November/December), but oh well.
