Well i recently upgraded from an i5 760 to an i5 2500k. I ran the 760 at 4ghz which seems to be about on par for that processor. Right now I am running the 2500k at 4.7ghz. I decided to do a few benchmarks before and after the upgrade. I kind of just picked an area in each game and played through it a few times. All of the results were within a couple fps of each other so I kind of just picked the average of each group. Here is what I saw.
Every game was run at 1920x1200 with 6950 crossfire. The only game that I didn't run maxed out is GTA4 and I'm not even sure why I ran it at all since the game plays awfully on ATI hardware. Darkplaces and Fallout New Vegas are using a few mods.

All of those benchmarks are done with 6950 crossfire. This is what I just saw on the same sandy bridge system with a single GTX570.

This is why I miss Nvidia.
