That's pretty much the lowest you'll see on newegg. Damn good price for a fast drive. Wish I had reasons to buy 2 more of this so I can raid0 it.
is this the usual going price? or has it been cheaper?
How does the F3 compare to a similarly priced SATA 6.0Gb/s drive?
mechanical drives don't even come close using the entire bandwidth of the SATA 3.0 interface so there wouldn't be any difference.
Beware. Amazon's shipping of hard drives is notoriously bad.Amazon has matched Neweggs price. Might save tax for some.

Are these drives 4K sector drives?
Not that hot. I paid $60 at Microcenter last week.
@ryu4000 How did you get it for $38 shipped?
They are 4k with 512 emulation so no jumpery fun is needed.
Hmmm, carry the 4, minus 33, divide by... This is cheaper than what you paid.
Don't worry it'll likely go back down again to this price. As mentioned in my initial post, the cheapest I've seen it at newegg was $49 but $54.99 has been their recent sale price. Just like the F4, newegg loves raising the price and lowering the price by $10. Just got to keep checking if you want one.As someone mentioned, they are back up to $65 per drive on both NewEgg and Amazon. It was nice while they lasted.
