The curved Dell U3414W was $800 last month with .edu discount, and the deal went dead very quickly.

The flat LG went on sale for $750 a few times recently.


This Samsung is interesting because it's the only 34" ultrawide with a VA panel.. all the others are IPS (and have noticeable corner IPS glow). VA should have better blacks and contrast, but worse color and response time.

I bought a Samsung curved 4K tv and it is absolutely fantastic. Also has 10 bit color if I am not mistaken so if this is the same VA panel then this is one fantastic monitor.

I, myself, am still waiting on a 27-30 inch 1440P or higher display with 144 Hz screen (possibly Acer) as I can no longer game on a 60 Hz screen.
