Samsung 275T vs. 275T+

I heard stories that the new + model isn't as responsive or doesn't have the same contrast as it's older counterpart due to some kind of scaling. I can also confirm this since on Samsung's website the + model isn't in the same class as the older version when you select response speed and contrast differentiators.

Can anyone confirm?

PS: I'm looking for a good solid 27" LCD. Any other suggestions besides the 275T that I should be looking at?

I believe that the 275T+
1) uses a slightly more recent panel (still S-PVA) and
2) features a HDMI port.
Other than that, both monitors are the same.
I own a 275T vanilla and it is a fantastic monitor. The black is good (at least, for a LCD), uniformity is perfect, colors are accurate, respond time is fast and i do not feel any input lag (like the majority of 275T owners).
The only negative element is maybe the bulky look. IMO, the Dell 2709WFP is nicer.
