samsung 27" LCD at walmart $649

Does anyone know anything about this display? I've been looking all over the web and can't seem to find anything about it. What is the difference between this one and

a more popular samsung 26" LCD which does have reviews

they appear to be the same...can I put my money in the 27"?

That wal-mart model is a 'last year's model' more or less...was released before the -51 series that you linked to on Amazon. I have the 3251, and it rocks. most of the difference is in the contrast (3000:1 vs 4000:1) and response time (I'm pretty sure that the -51 has 4ms vs the wal-mart's 8ms, but I could be wrong on this point.)

This is a 720p TV... There's 37" models that cost $500...

samsung models are usually such that a 23" is priced around $650, 26" around $850, 32" around $1100

they can get away with it since they usually get high praises for their LCDs
