I already have a physical copy but for free why not grab a backup copy. In many ways this is my favorite SR game, all the really good upgrades/skills are a challenge to unlock which makes them more rewarding.

Since GOG tends to make sure the games they sell work on newer hardware I wonder if they fixed the issue of game speed being directly tied to CPU speed.

It is a bad port but I recall being able to fix any issues that weren't patched and then the game ran and looked much better than the console version(s).

I feel like this game has aged terribly, I played SR3 before touching this and it feels so clunky in comparison.

I am pleased to see such offers again today. Saints row was very well known at one time.

Honestly, the best Saints Row IMO.

It certainly beat out GTA IV at the time.
