I bought one a few years ago and it's been alright. I got a NP4060 - 2.4ghz P4, 256mb RAM, Radeon 9000, 40GB hard drive. The hard drive keeps dying in it, though. I'm not sure if it's a problem with the laptop or the hard drive. The hard drive is a Toshiba MK4025GAS. I've been through about 5 in 3 years.
Recently though, I think their laptops have been very high quality, and depending on where you buy from, the customer support is outstanding.

I had two of the exact same model come in last week that were bad.
