I'm relocating soon and I'm wondering if it's safe to transport a water cooled system intact, or if I should take it apart. My car suspension is pretty stiff, and I'm worried that bumps on the road could cause some issues. The area of concern between the GPUs and the triple slot bridge terminal. Maybe I can place something soft under the case, to help dampen road vibrations? It's going to be a 12 hour long drive on mostly smooth roads until I reach the awfulness of pothole riddled LA freeways. Then it might be a bumpy ride for another hour or two.
For those wondering why I'm even asking instead of just taking the terminal off - it is a slight pain to get on right. I've had a waterfall come out (thankfully during leak testing with nothing powered on) of it when an o-ring was slightly misaligned. It's easy to align with two, but add in a third card, and you're somewhat guessing where the third one should slot under.
