S-Video Output in black and white

I finally got the output to work but it's in black and white, is there any way to fix this? I'm sure i'm not the only one who has had this problem.
 
which video card? :confused: Sometimes providing *any* detail is helpful. ;)

If it's an nvidia card, check this option:
tvout.png


and make sure the right video output format is selected. If it's on auto, change it to S-Video manually.

Oh my, it most definately is.

I have a 9800 Pro
 
I just checked my laptop. ATI doesn't have any manual adjustments for TV output type, at least in the 5.1 drivers.
 
Well, I have color now, but there's scan lines all over the place and the color's not so great. Maybe I need a new cable.
