My friend is trying to get his S-ATA drive to be reconized by the A7N8X-E Deluxe's bios. I have recomened to him to update the bios, but I am not sure if that all that needs to be done,
I myself have no experiance with S-ATA drives, so I ask you all. This SATA drive is the only drive in his set up.
I know this has been stated before, but I can not find any info for this problem in any FAQ, or I am just not looking hard enough.
Other then what I have told you, I dont know anything else about his set up, other then he is using the right power adapter.

It's usually something as simple as reading the manual and making changes in the BIOS. Well, and making sure the drive is getting power.

I would simply tell your friend RTFM. Damn I love that saying.

If its a SATA drive then it may only show up in the boot order part of the bios.
Thats the only place my 2 SATA drives show up on my Tyan mobo's bios.

If he's trying to install Windozes on it then he will probably need to hit "F6" when needed and install the drivers off a floppy.

Luck.......... :D
