Ryzen 7 1700, 1700X, 1800X - $50 to $100 off w/ compatible Motherboard @ Micro Center

I added this to my cart & it only took $50 off of an $79.99 motherboard...?
 
That's odd. I confirmed it on my end, $89.99 and $109.99 mobos only take $50 off. I imagine a store rep could correct it in store. I haven't had any issues with things like this at the Paterson NJ MC.

Just make note of it in store and they'll honor it.
 
I'd give it a shot if the motherboard manufacturers would get off their butts and bring out the mITX boards.
 
In store only unfortunately. Really need one of these in Seattle.
 
This seems odd... If this were a 1700X, or maybe even the upcoming 1600X since it has the same clock speed as the 1800X, I'd bite. But the 1700X has no discount, and the 1800X only has $50 discount. Weird.
 
Ugh, these deals are such a tease for people like me that don't live remotely close to a Microcenter...

The 1700X had a $50 discount about a week or two ago, not sure why they pulled it. It was the biggest at the time.

I can't say that having a Microcenter near by is healthy for my bank account :eek:.
 
Was this the $100 off the 1700 deal? If so, other sites confirmed that it was a typo.
 
I see $100 off a 1700x and not a single x370 board at either chicago area location...

Looks like they updated the site. 1700X is $100 off at all locations, and I added a board to the cart, it is indeed $100 off.

Should I update the title? :p

I'm seeing $100 off either 1700x or 1800x, and $50 off 1700....wow.
 
Anyone know if this is on top of the usual $30 off if you get it bundled with a motherboard?
 
Looks like MC sorted the discounts. I updated the thread title.

Clarification edit:

1700 - $50 off
1700X - $100 off
1800X - $100 off
 
Also: If you choose a motherboard sub $100, you get the board for $0.01. If you choose a motherboard for +$100, you get $100 off the board. FYI.
 
Wish they had a Microcenter in Tampa. Ever since Tiger Direct stores shut down, we've been without decent parts stores around here.
 
Looks like most of the good motherboards are sold out anyways. Also, I'm 3-4 hours from the nearest MC :(

And yeah, when I first discovered MC I was in college up in WNY and the nearest MC was like 6 hours south :eek:.
 
When I lived in Kansas City Microcenter got quite a bit of my money. Not even sure if the store is there anymore.
