What monitor? Reference 5700 is good and if you plan on putting under water, that would be the way to go. (I have a 5700 and it plays well at 1440p 144hz Freesync.) Since you are probably going to buy a custom card, I have no idea but, Sapphire is usually the best.
ASUS ROG PG279Q 27" Gaming Monitor WQHD 1440p IPS
Well, I would say sell the monitor, get a Freesync version and a 5700XT. If you do not want to sell the monitor, get a 2070 Super instead, since the monitor you have is G Sync enabled.
Easiest route is to get an RTX 2070 or the 2070 super. Otherwise as above you'll have to sell the monitor if you want to run Freesync. It's a shame you can't enable GSync on and AMD card.
yeah you can run free-sync with RTX2070 but you can't run AMD with g-sync. Makes you wonder how much g-sync premium is worth it in the end ?
1080 Ti used would be good too
5700 with a good aftermarket cooler (air) with all the little finned heatsinks for the memory.
But what about hang sync monitor
That's a good option too.
5700 XT non reference card if you want AMD or spend a little more and get the 2070 Super.
wish there was a "sad face" button because this is so true T.T
