Rumors support the usually-BS Inq:

Figures from other places show it as a $200 USD part launching on Nov. 19:

AMD is preparing to launch its new Radeon HD 2950PRO (RV670) chip on November 19, according to sources at graphics card makers.
Gladiator adopting 512MB GDDR4 graphics memory, a GPU frequency of 825MHz and a memory frequency of 2.4GHz.
{This} 256-bit GPU is more powerful than 512-bit one
We would not be surprised if a low-clocked part would retail for 199 Dollars/Euro
The load of four RV670 boards will be less than two 2900XT boards, so the difference is striking.

Looking good ;)... this should be a fun holiday between ATI/nVidia!

November is looking like a busy months for tech sites:

RV670/G92/Penryn on desktop/Phenom on Desktop.

It is a respin cycle for everything.

Is that supposed to be a joke, or is he that much of an idiot?

Edit:
I'm sorry, he's obviously trying to generate traffic and doesn't care how.

It's not true????????
:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I thought everything on the internet was true.

My new freaking upgrade… finely something worth looking at! X2950PRO here i come! :D

How hardcore would that be? ATI would definitely win if their new cards had built-in tablesaws.
The Quake3 veterans would approve.

Yep. Time to ditch my 8800GTS 320MB and nForce 570 SLI motherboard, and pick up a RD790 and two RV670 Gladiator boards. :D
