Running BF2 Special Forces on Laptops

I run it on my Dell i9300. I have it running at 1280x1024 medium everything and its silky smooth. With 2 gigs of ram I can probably get more settings to high.
I run a pretty low end 9300 as well:
1.73Ghz P-M
1 gig DDR2
100gig 5400rpm
6800Go
As for a recommended laptop, the 9300 is a pretty good value for the price if you grab one with the Dell coupons.
I would also suggest looking at the Sager 5720

Yuck!!!! Here;s what you want to do. Buy a bone stock 9300. Use the EPP Deals if you want. Get a Pentium M 1.6 400FSB Dothan, Pin mod it to 533FSB 2.13GHZ, get 2GB of ram from newegg(2x1GB Sticks) grab a 7200 RPM HD, and lastly get a 7800GTX Go. Under 2K easy if know where to look and its by far the best bang for buck DTR/Gamming notebook out!spaceman said:

mine had a 6800ultra go, and a 2.0 Pentium M with 2gb DDR, it runs really good. Not as good as my desktop when i had my 6800GT and certianly not as fast as my desktop now with a 7800GT...
but it still ran jsut fine with great eye candy.

Technically you can run it on a 9600. However it gonna look a little rough. For some people all that matters is gameplay and that is enough. I believe spaceman is looking for eye candy however. I would say x800 or 6800 and above would do what you are looking for in BF2. 2 gigs of RAM would almost be necessary also.
