RTX 4080 to 4090 Something really wrong

So on my asus oc 4080 and microsoft flight sim 1000 mph through nyc everything in highest settings 75 fps. Just picked up a gigabyte 4090 oc all the same settings 63 fps!!!!!?????? How can this be ??? I even think 75 fps on the 4080 was not right but i am not too great with software i tried watching endless hours of utube videos on nvidia control panel and still the same... Anyone know a good video for settings setup please thanks
Are there any programs to show the power coming from your power supply like to the graphics card or can u see that anywere in windows??? thanks

Sorry guys found the problem when i took the 4080 out i left the 3 wires connected to the power supply i never looked at the 4090 wire that it has 4 connections so i switched it !! up to 85 fps

well i went from around 60 fps to 90 with the extra plug. Truthfully the 4080 was at 70-75 so it cost me 400 bucks more for the 4090 dont think its really worth it i am thinking of returning it and keeping the 4080 unless anyone wants a asus rtx 4080 oc 2 weeks old for cheap...
