NVIDIA RTX 2080 - 2080 Ti - 2070 Pricing Revealed! Shipping date of 9/20 shown in shopping cart.
Hell no to all of that. Sorry.
*slowly backs away from the screen*
Ahh well I can wait a few months before picking one up I suppose.
Wow, pricey.....Hope nobody buys them.
That's one way to help give AMD and even Intel a boost back into the high-end GPU market.
Especially in the era where more and more people are content playing most of their games on their phone.
Yea no thanks!
At the current exchange rate, here in Canada a 2080 Ti would be....$1770 w/ tax. See ya later!
Not surprised. People will still buy them. I mean people were paying nearly this much for 1080tis during the mining craze peak.
Wow thats not a subtle increase, im good thanks.
So a 30-50% price increase at launch vs last generation? That's a bit much.
Yeah...cause they made them money. Very few were buying just to game...
Seriously...$600 for the 2070? Isn't that like 970/1070 tier of previous generations?
What are these doing again that are leaps and bounds beyond what we have now? Why wouldn't I get a 1080Ti used for ~$500?
In other words...this is fucking stupid.
prices are bat shit insane.. definitely sitting out this gen
I'm also good on that. I'm all for tech, but that's a pretty serious pricetag for what is probably marginal incremental performance increase.
It's important to keep in mind that the 1080ti represented very favorable value at msrp at launch. Still.
figuring the last gen MSRP (1080 ti) was about 700/800$ - I had a 1000$ put aside for this card....
But bumping your prices by 1/3 for the new gen? I guess they didn't want my money
I guess I'll get this instead
pushing the leftover inventory first I see.
I wonder how many miners are putting off their next mazarati to buy dozens of these. Hopefully they help drive the price down for the rest of us? NAAAAA. Nvidia will just throttle release rates and make everyone pay a premium.
I would like to toss my hat into the OMFGWTFBBQSAUCE ring over those prices, esp. that 2070. My 1070 will keep chugging on.
This is what happens when you don't have competition.
Where are those who want AMD to die? Can you see now why competition is needed?
I'll join the chorus... No thanks.... What a rip
Paper lunch AND $1200 US DOLLARS? Did nVidia learn nothing form Sony's PS3 announcement fiasco?
My 1080Ti is killing it and I suspect it will continue to do so for some time to come as long as I stay on 1440p.
nvidia shop is flip-flopping between sold out and in-stock for RTX 2080 Ti ..
Wasn't expecting a CR reference here, but :ThisIsOkGoblin:
Wow. They have a performance advantage over AMD...and then they piss it all away with a $1200 price tag. Nice. Glad I bought my Vega64...
NVIDIA will still let us buy cards from it!
They just have someone clicking a button that switches between a sold-out and in stock page to make it look like they're selling out.
In the end they just want your cheese
They have lost their minds at those prices, either their yields suck or they have gone full on greedy.
Most likely both, and it's going to stay that way for the next 2 years. Intel's card isn't out until 2020, and AMD can't get their shit together on the graphics side of the house.
I'm still quite happy with my 970 thanks
LOL.... Okay I see they have cards priced for reality impaired miners.... but what about the rest of humanity?
I still have a ROG 1080Ti I got for about $700 right when it came out before mining forced them into 4 figures $$$. I think I will also sit this generation out. I don't even game. I run triple screens and just like having fast hardware. As someone else said, somebody will probably buy them. Personally I think it would be hilarious if no one wanted them and they ended up sitting on a mountain of stock.... How much profit is enough????
For that price tag, it better be double the performance of the 1080ti. If it is, then I think the price may not be terrible.
But generally- Fuck all that noise
If it pays well, I'll do it!
I called $800 on the 1180/2080 part many months back. People thought that was crazy.
No - there was just no reason Nvidia would price a card faster than the 1080TI for less than MSRP on the 1080TI - (which until the last 2-3 weeks was still selling like hotcakes).
Though, I did miss when they would launch it. I was suspecting April'ish.
And I was worried I would have to exercise some impulse control over the existing 1080.
That was easy.
EDIT: Bring on the 2050 and 2060.
This is how Nvidia light their cigars.
Great googly moogly.
