Upgrading from my GTX 970 to (likely) an RTX 2060. However, I am torn between the standard size cards and the mid size ones. For example:

I know the mini one is slightly cheaper, but for the sake of this post, let's assume they are the same price. I can fit a full size card in my case (A Corsair Obsidian 250D, which currently houses a 660 Ti) , but I'm wondering if there will be any real functional differences between the two. Wondering if anyone with a 1060 mini or 1070 mini can chime in here to let me know what their experiences have been. Are the smaller ones appreciably louder? Hotter? Lower performance?
