RTX 2060 Sizes (ATTN 1060 and 1070 mini owners) matter?

Upgrading from my GTX 970 to (likely) an RTX 2060. However, I am torn between the standard size cards and the mid size ones. For example:

I know the mini one is slightly cheaper, but for the sake of this post, let's assume they are the same price. I can fit a full size card in my case (A Corsair Obsidian 250D, which currently houses a 660 Ti) , but I'm wondering if there will be any real functional differences between the two. Wondering if anyone with a 1060 mini or 1070 mini can chime in here to let me know what their experiences have been. Are the smaller ones appreciably louder? Hotter? Lower performance?

Nevermind! Just realized the mini card is a three slot card. Therefore will NOT fit in the 250D.

I had four mini Gigabyte 1060s running in an open air case, and they ran a few degrees hotter than my regular sized EVGA1060 inside a Corsair 780T . I didn't notice them being any louder though, but I'm not particularly sensitive to fan noise unless it's changing a lot (like my 1080TI does).

The RTX 2060 uses the same amount of power as the 1080, so a mini version of the card will come with significant compromises.

Or they play games like use a triple-slot cooler.

The 1060 has no true successor yet (either in power or in price), but for those 120 watt cards the single-fan coolers (or smaller dual-fan) were acceptable.

Hmmm, looking for info on these, just because I have a few days left on doing a Step-up from a 1060 to a 2060, but the only 2060 option they offer is the cheapest single fan option. I guess for $70 more, I should still do it anyway.

I have a Gigabyte GTX 1070 mini and it runs great. Fully loaded at 2050 and about 74C temps.
